“In the Lifter bits there are two different shanks, each with four different mouthpieces. The medium measures 6 1/2:” and the long measures 8-1/4”. This gives the rider lots of different options to choose from. These bits are for all different types of horses, from the light horse that needs help on the back side or the hard runner that needs help shutting down for the turn.
These bits are created to help you pick up your horse’s shoulder while going into a turn and then helping them on the back side of the turn.
The Lifter also gives good elevation of your horse’s front end while engaging the hind quarter for the turn. If you are having trouble getting your horse to break at the poll and gather for the barrel, this will help you accomplish that goal.” - Brittany Pozzi
NOTE: This bit will rust when exposed to moisture. This creates a sweet taste in the horse’s mouth and promotes salivation.
Smooth - This is a thin, smooth snaffle so you will not sore the corners of you horses mouth up, and you will not get that dull feel that you sometimes get with a bigger mouthpiece. - Brittany Pozzi
Twisted Wire Snaffle - I love this medium twist and ride it on just about everything. It is a great size; not too harsh, but just enough bite if you need it. - Brittany Pozzi
3-Piece Smooth - The three-piece smooth gives you similar benefits of the smooth snaffle with added flex and bend. - Brittany Pozzi
3-Piece Twisted Wire - This mouthpiece offers similar benefits of the twisted wire snaffle with added flex and bend. - Brittany Pozzi
Mullen Mouth - This mouthpiece sweeps forward and is slightly raised for limited tongue relief and no pallet pressure. Designed to bring the shoulders around a little more and eliminate some of the "noodleiness". - Brittany Pozzi
